# zks\_gasPerPubdata - zkSync

Example code for the zks\_gasPerPubdata JSON-RPC method. Сomplete guide on how to use zks\_gasPerPubdata JSON-RPC in GetBlock.io Web3 documentation.

Returns the scaled gas-per-pubdata limit for the currently open batch. The result is scaled by 1e18 to preserve precision. Use this value alongside gas limits and L1 calldata size in transaction fee calculations. Available since node version 28.7.0.
