# eth\_getTransactionByHash - zkSync

Example code for the eth\_getTransactionByHash JSON-RPC method. Сomplete guide on how to use eth\_getTransactionByHash JSON-RPC in GetBlock.io Web3 documentation.

Returns transaction details by transaction hash. zkSync responses include the standard Ethereum fields plus L1 batch metadata.

## Parameters

## Error Handling

| Status Code | Error Message     | Cause                                       |

| 403         | Forbidden         | Missing or invalid `<ACCESS-TOKEN>`         |
| -32602      | Invalid params    | Request parameters are missing or malformed |
| 429         | Too Many Requests | Rate limit exceeded for your plan           |
