# starknet\_getStateUpdate - STRK

Example code for the starknet\_getStateUpdate JSON-RPC method. Complete guide on how to use starknet\_getStateUpdate JSON-RPC in GetBlock Web3 documentation.

This method returns the state update for a block: the storage diffs, deployed contracts, declared classes, and nonces that changed. It is used to build state-diff indexers.

## Parameters
