# eth\_getTransactionByBlockHashAndIndex - Polygon

The `eth_getTransactionByBlockHashAndIndex` method returns information about a transaction by block hash and transaction index position.

## Parameters

| blockHash        | string | Yes      | 32-byte hash of the block                 |
| transactionIndex | string | Yes      | Transaction index position in hexadecimal |
