# eth\_getUncleByBlockHashAndIndex - Polygon

The **eth\_getUncleByBlockHashAndIndex** method returns information about an uncle of a block by hash and uncle index position. Note that Polygon uses Proof of Stake, so uncle blocks are rare.

## Parameters
