# get\_transaction - Nervos

Returns the information about a transaction by hash, including its TxStatus (`Pending`, `Proposed`, `Committed`, `Unknown`, `Rejected`) and, if committed, the block hash containing it.

## Parameters

| tx\_hash        | H256    | Yes      | Transaction hash                                                                                     |
| verbosity       | Uint32  | No       | `"0x2"` for full transaction object (default), `"0x0"` for serialized bytes, `"0x1"` for status only |
| only\_committed | boolean | No       | If `true`, only return committed transactions                                                        |

## Error Handling

| Status Code | Error Message     | Cause                                                |
| ----------- | ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| 403         | Forbidden         | Missing or invalid `<ACCESS-TOKEN>`                  |
| -32602      | Invalid params    | Request parameters are missing or malformed          |
| -32601      | Method not found  | Method does not exist or is not enabled on this node |
| -32603      | Internal error    | Server-side error while processing the request       |
| 429         | Too Many Requests | Rate limit exceeded for your plan                    |
