# importprivkey {disallowed} - DigiByte

#### Parameters

`privkey` - string, required

The private key (see dumpprivkey)

`label` - string, optional, default=current label if address exists, otherwise “”

An optional label

`rescan` - boolean, optional, default=true

Rescan the wallet for transactions
