# queryLedgerState\_governanceProposals - Cardano

This method returns the currently active governance proposals under the Conway-era on-chain governance system.

## Parameters

This method does not require parameters.

## Response Parameters

| deposit       | object | Deposit locked for the proposal                  |

## Error Handling

| -32603     | Internal error    | The node failed to answer the query                  |
