# eth\_coinbase - BSC

Example code for the web3\_clientVersionn JSON RPC method. Сomplete guide on how to use web3\_clientVersionn JSON RPC in GetBlock Web3 documentation.

This method returns the client's coinbase address, which is the address that receives mining/validation rewards. For public RPC endpoints, this method may return an error or a default address since the node is not typically configured for block production.
