eth_getLogs - Bittensor

Example code for the eth_getLogs JSON-RPC method. Complete guide on how to use eth_getLogs JSON-RPC in GetBlock Web3 documentation.

Returns EVM event logs matching the given filter criteria — by address, topics, and block range. The primary way to read on-chain events from contracts deployed on Subtensor EVM.

Subtensor EVM JSON-RPC method. Call against a GetBlock endpoint configured for the EVM interface (not the Substrate interface). Subtensor EVM uses chain ID 945 (0x3b1). Standard Ethereum tooling — ethers.js, viem, Hardhat, Foundry, MetaMask — works unmodified.

Response Example

Response Parameters

Field
Type
Description

result

array of Log

Matching log entries

result[].address

DATA

Address that emitted the log

result[].topics

array of DATA

Indexed event topics (first is event signature)

result[].data

DATA
