# eth\_blobBaseFee - Arbitrum Nova

Example code for the eth\_blobBaseFee JSON-RPC method. Complete guide on how to use eth\_blobBaseFee JSON-RPC in GetBlock Web3 documentation.

This method returns the current blob base fee in wei used to price EIP-4844 blob-carrying transactions. It is used when constructing transactions that post blob data.

## Parameters

## Error Handling
